Emir's Palace.
This palace was built by the Rumfa Dynasty in the 15th century over 33 acres on the desert land. The walls surrounding the palace area, 30 feet tall and as thick as 15 feet thick. Kofar Kuda is the name for the main entry gate. The gates have to remain sealed so the Emir's palace will keep its power for life. In the northernmost part of the palace is a public area where people from the outside can walk in to see it. Above is a picture of the one and only Emir's palace.
Zuma Rock.
This largely shaped rock stands to be about 725 meters above its surroundings. The rock is sometimes referred to as "Gateway to Abuja". Zuma rock is located in the Niger state of Africa. It features a naturally occurring face on the side of the rock. The rock seems to swallow drivers on the Abuja-Kaduna express way when they are passing by. As long as the face remains on the rock she will remain the watchmen of F.C.T. Below is a picture of the one sided faced Zuma Rock.
Agadez Mosque.To the left is a picture of Agadez Mosque. This large sculpture was created in Agadez, Niger, the year 1515. In the 1515s it was designed for attracting a group of people called the Berber nomadic { known as the Tuareg.} Each day a sultan climbs up to the top of the Mosque and says a little prayer. It is made out of clay and stands to this day, but in 1844 it was rebuilt and got changed a little.
